Extras: This aircraft will come with a free insurance checkout up to 2 hours of flight time. We will also provide delivery of this aircraft within the continental United States of America as long as the purchaser pays for the ferry pilots round trip. The airplane will also be sold with a fresh annual. All airworthy items will be fixed if necessary! No expenses have been spared and rest assured the owner wants this aircraft to go to someone who will take care of it!
Previous Owner History: The owner’s mission has changed and no longer needs this incredible, family carrying, business traveling, high flying, super machine! In 2017, the owner decided to reskin specific surface areas of the aircraft to make it look exceptional. The old plastic ice guards were removed and replaced with new aluminum gaurds. The owner is wanting to purchase a T6 trainer and must part with this amazing airplane.
In Flight Report: Flight in a 1973 Cessna 310Q that’s been converted to a Riley “Turbostream” is noticeably different from a stock 310 — much more powerful, quicker to climb, faster in cruise, and with a firmer feel in pitch/roll and more to manage in engine and turbo controls. Much stronger acceleration & climb compared with stock 310 engines because Riley conversions replace the factory engines with ~350-hp Lycomings that have been derated to 310hp to extend life and TBO. Cruise can be dramatically higher at altitude on the Turbostream conversions. Engine management (turbo control/wastegates, leaning, higher-power engine monitoring). Single-engine handling and safety is improved in many Riley conversions because they use counter-rotating props and more power, which reduces adverse yaw and asymmetry. Since this aircraft is not pressurized, true performance numbers are limited to the manifold pressure performance numbers. –“Josh”
